UPMC Health System opens Greensburg center

UPMC Health System has teamed up with Mid-Atlantic Imaging Network (MAIN Medical) to open a new, multi-specialty diagnostic imaging center in the Greensburg area.

The center, which will be known as UPMC Greensburg, is expected to open this fall and will be located at 1275 South Main Street, Greensburg.

UPMC Greensburg will become part of UPMC Health System's network of regional health care satellites, and will offer a wide variety of services, including: echocardiography, general ultrasound, general radiology, peripheral vascular studies, mammography screening, diagnostic studies and bone densitometry tests; general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, mobile computerized axial tomography (CT) and mobile magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); physical therapy services, and Quest laboratory services.

In addition, specialty services such as neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry will be provided by a rotating group of UPMC-affiliated specialists.

The new center will accept a broad range of insurance plans.
