Street renamed to honor Dorsett

Pitt football great Tony Dorsett now has a street to add to his honors. Martindale Street between North Shore Drive and Reedsdale Street has been renamed Tony Dorsett Drive.

Dorsett is the only player in history to win the Heisman Trophy, a collegiate national championship, a Super Bowl championship and to be elected into both the college and professional football Halls of Fame.

Dorsett joins Steelers founder Art Rooney Sr. and Pirates' Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski in having streets on the North Shore named after them.
