LETTERS

To the editor:

I completed the on-line survey regarding the Faculty/Staff Club today after reading the article about it in the (Sept. 15, 2005) University Times.

I completely support the idea of having a Faculty/Staff Club; in fact, when I heard the University was acquiring the University Club, my immediate thought was that this would be a perfect opportunity for the students in the Katz Graduate School of Business to gain real life experience in hotel/restaurant management, almost like a longer-term “Apprentice.”

I also thought it would be a fantastic opportunity for undergraduates in business to hold internships in this establishment. If this is financially not feasible, the student could gain credits rather than payment in return for their services.
