More than 200 Pitt volunteers tackled 22 projects at 18 locations as part of the annual United Way Day of Caring. The Oct. 19 event included projects in partnership with community groups in Oakland, Duquesne, East Liberty, Friendship, the Hill District, Hazelwood, Homestead, Lawrenceville, Squirrel Hill and Uptown.
