Staff with degrees eligible to join commencement procession
University staff with degrees are invited to join the procession of faculty and graduating students at the annual commencement convocation on April 30.
The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. at the Mellon Arena (formerly the Civic Arena). Those walking in the procession must wear academic regalia, which can be ordered from The Book Center. Prices are as follows: bachelor's cap, tassel, gown, $20.50; master's cap, tassel, gown, hood, $41; doctor's cap, tassel, gown, hood, $53. Staff members interested in participating should contact the Office of Special Events, 624-7100, by April 14.
