March volunteer day planned
Pitt is initiating a spring term day of service open to faculty, staff, students and alumni. The Pitt-United Way Good Neighbor Day will take place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 22.
There are outdoor and indoor projects in Oakland as well as in nearby neighborhoods. These include planting, clearing overgrowth, painting, renovating and visiting with residents at a geriatric care facility.
These Good Neighbor Day projects are being finalized, and will be announced on my.pitt.edu in the next few days, as well as by email to those on the Community Relations email list.
