Memorial services will be held for two Pitt faculty members.

A memorial service for Katherine Detre, professor of epidemiology, will be held at 2:30 p.m. April 28 in Heinz Chapel. (See April 15 University Times.)

A memorial service for Edward I. Curtiss, professor of medicine and senior associate dean for admissions and financial aid in the School of Medicine, who died Feb. 15, will be held on May 2 at 3 p.m. in Scaife Hall auditorium 6. A reception will follow in 1105 Scaife.

A memorial fund in Curtiss’s honor has been established. Contributors should send a check payable to the University of Pittsburgh to Institutional Advancement, 400 Craig Hall, 200 South Craig Street, Pittsburgh 15260. Indicate on the check that the donation is for the Edward Curtiss, M.D., Memorial Scholarship in the School of Medicine.
