Allegheny Jazz Society plans weekend of music at Chautauqua Institute

The Allegheny Jazz Society will present Jazz at Chautauqua, Sept. 12-14, at western New York's famous Chautauqua Institute.

More than 20 musicians from throughout the nation, as well as Australian Tom Baker, will perform during the weekend. In addition to Baker, performers will include: Dan Barrett, Jon-Erok Kellso, Joe Wilder, Bob Havens, Harry Allen, Bobby Gordon, Scott Hamilton, Bob Reitmeier, Scott Robinson, Cal Collins, Marty Grosz, Dave Frishberg, Keith Ingham, Dave McKenna, Bob Haggart, Michael Moore, Hal Smith, John Von Ohlen, Marty Grosz and Rebecca Kilgore.

Accommodations at the Athenaeum Hotel at Chautauqua are $475 per couple for two nights and $400 for one person. The price includes four brunches, four dinners, snacks and beverages.
