SIS develops information ethics web site
Pitt's School of Information Sciences (SIS) has developed a World Wide Web site dealing with the study and application of ethics to the information field.
Barbara Rockenbach, a graduate student in information sciences and the first recipient of the school's information ethics fellowship, recently completed the site under the direction of faculty member Stephen Almagno.
The web site contains information on the SIS ethics course and fellowship program, as well as current and archived news articles relating to information ethics. The site can be reached at: http://www.sis.pitt.edu/~ethics.
