UPB wins awards

Pitt-Bradford has won a gold and a bronze award in the 2015 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District II Accolades Awards program.

UPB’s 50th anniversary calendar received a Gold Award in the “Promotional items: Calendar” category.

UPB’s Law Enforcement Awareness and Familiarization (LEAF) Day received a Bronze Award in the “Creativity on a Shoestring” category. LEAF Day is a recruitment effort aimed at prospective criminal justice students.

CASE is an international association for advancement professionals who work on behalf of educational institutions in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and related areas. District II is the largest CASE district, covering 700 institutions in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and West Virginia.

The awards program has 39 categories, including alumni relations, design, development, grant writing, magazines, marketing, news writing, photography, portals, publications and web.
