Trustees okay FY99 budget
The Board of Trustees on June 25 approved a $865.1 million Pitt operating budget for the fiscal year that began July 1, along with a $55.3 million capital budget.
Tuition will increase by 4 percent next fall, the lowest percentage hike at Pitt in nearly a decade. Full-time tuition for in-state undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences will be $5,884, while non-Pennsylvania CAS students will pay $12,918.
The pool of money for salaries will increase by 3 percent.
