SAC elections set

Staff Association Council (SAC) members chose officer candidates for the next academic year at its closed meeting May 13.

Current SAC President Rich Colwell, of engineering operations, and Vice President of Finance Monika Losagio, of both Hispanic and French and Italian languages and literatures, are running again unopposed. Andy Stephany of research administration, now chair of SAC’s external relations committee, is the sole candidate for vice president of public relations.

Those vying for the other offices are:

• Executive vice president: Tammeka Banks of the Office of Research, current chair of SAC’s operations committee, and Lindsay Rodzwicz of bioengineering, now vice president of public relations.

• Parliamentarian: Hillary Koller of College of Business Administration career services, current SAC operations committee chair, and Fiona Seels of the School of Education technology department, current vice chair of SAC’s external relations committee.

Elections begin online the first week of June, and winners will be announced at SAC’s June 17 meeting. Only SAC members are eligible to vote.
