Looking for a new dean of education

The committee searching for a new dean of the School of Education held an open forum yesterday, Oct. 14, in the William Pitt Union.

Alan Lesgold, the Renée and Richard Goldman Dean who has headed the School of Education since 2000, has announced he will step down next August.

Among the members of the search committee attending the forum were, from left: Alberta Sbragia, provost’s liaison to the committee; search committee chair Charles Perfetti; Rosa Morris of Korn Ferry, which is assisting with the search; Jennifer Russell; and Fiona Seels.
