Approximately 225 Pitt faculty and staff members volunteered for this year’s Pitt-United Way Day of Caring on Oct. 2. Volunteers worked on 30-plus projects at 21 sites in Oakland, Squirrel Hill, Homestead, Munhall, Shadyside, Bloomfield, Garfield, Lawrenceville, North Side, South Side, Greenfield, Hazelwood and East Liberty.
