Hayes to speak at honors convo
Terrance Hayes, an English department faculty member and winner of the MacArthur Fellowship, will be the keynote speaker at the University’s annual honors convocation, to be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 26 in Carnegie Music Hall. All members of the University community are invited to attend.
The honors convocation recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of Pitt faculty and students.
Hayes will receive an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts in recognition of distinguished service in the field of poetry and poetics.
