Board elects new members

The Board of Trustees elected three new members Feb. 22.

Thomas Marshall, retired CEO of Aristech Chemical Corp. and a Pitt trustee from 1988 to 1992, and Earl F. Hord, president and CEO of The Minority Enterprise Corp., were elected as term trustees.

Alfred L. Moye, university relationships manager for Hewlett-Packard Co. and a former Pitt vice chancellor for Student Affairs and associate professor of chemistry, was elected a special trustee.

As term trustees, Marshall and Hord have full trustee powers, including voting rights. Moye, as a special trustee, has all trustee rights but cannot vote.

All three men were elected for the 1993-97 term.
