Voter registration event set
Pennsylvania Secretary of State Pedro A. Cortés is coming to the Pittsburgh campus next week to promote the Everyone votesPA voter toolkit.
Participants can register to vote and network with public and elected officials at the event, set for 5-7 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Alumni Hall Connolly Ballroom.
Vice Chancellor for Community and Governmental Relations Paul Supowitz will be among the speakers.
Everyone.votesPA.com includes general information about voting in Pennsylvania as well as links to find your polling place, apply for an absentee ballot, check voter registration status or register to vote online.
The registration deadline for the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 11.
