Deadlines

Ben Franklin Challenge Grant

Matching grants of up to $100,000 each are available. Projects will be considered that involve research and development leading to the commercialization of a product or process. Two-hour workshops will cover the "how-to's" of applying. The deadline for submitting an application is 4 p.m., April 21. Funds will be made available beginning in September. (681-1520)

Women's Studies Program

15th Annual Prize Competition for the best student research on women or gender issues and concerns. The competition is open to all students at the University. Total prizes of up to $750 will be awarded for the best graduate and undergraduate papers. Obtain a copy of the guidelines at 2632 CL. Deadline: Undergraduates (May 2, 1995); Graduates (May 9, 1995).

Fulbright Grants Competition

Official opening on May 1 of the 1996-97 competition, and other grants for graduate study abroad in academic fields and for professional training in the creative and performing arts.
