The University kicked off its United Way campaign Oct. 5.

Last year Pitt raised more than $666,300. The goal this year is to raise an additional 10 percent and increase participation.

Campaign contributions can be made by check, credit card or payroll deduction. Payroll deductions begin with the January pay and require a minimum pledge of $2 per month.
