PEOPLE OF THE TIMES

Maryann Donovan-Peluso, assistant professor of pathology, has been appointed assistant dean for Graduate Studies in the School of Medicine.

Kelly Kelleher has been named the first Staunton Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry. Kelleher specializes in mental health services research and the evaluation and improvement of health services available to the community.

The Staunton professorship was established by the Staunton Farm Foundation for the purpose of bridging the services between Children's Hospital and the medical center's Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.

Kelleher formerly was an associate professor of pediatrics and psychiatry and director of the Child Working Group Rural Center for Mental Health Care Research at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and associate director of the Center for Applied Research and Evaluation at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Adolf Grunbaum, Andrew Mellon Professor of Philosophy, delivered the keynote address at a ceremony conducted by the International Latsis Foundation to award five research prizes to Swiss nationals. The ceremony was held at the University of Geneva.
