Erie corporation donates $10,000 to UPB's campaign

National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. of Erie recently completed its $10,000 pledge to Pitt's Bradford campus.

"National Fuel is proud to participate in furthering the progress of education through the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford," said Carl Carlotti, National Fuel assistant vice president. "This institution is an integral resource for our community in which our employees and their families reside." National Fuel employs more than 900 people in its Pennsylvania division and serves more than 200,000 customers in northwestern Pennsylvania.

"It is important for Pitt-Bradford to receive the support of companies within our region like National Fuel," noted Karen Niemic Buchheit, director of development and University relations at the Bradford campus. "Together we can help meet the educational needs of the communities and people of this area." Bradford's Campaign 2000 has achieved 80 percent of its $8 million goal, nearly four times more than was raised in UPB's last capital campaign.
