LETTERS

Thanks… to everyone

To the editor:

It has been almost 10 months to the day since my husband, Bill, and son, Danny, were killed when our small plane crashed. The outpouring of support from colleagues and co-workers of Bill's was incredible. As I started to write thank-you notes, I realized it would take me forever to thank everyone.

My daughter, Megan, and I could not have made it through this tragedy without the support and words of encouragement that we received. The stories that colleagues of Bill have sent in via electronic mail to Bill's boss at Falk Library make me smile with pride, laugh and yes, cry. I never realized what an impact Bill had in "library land," as he would call it. He loved his work and it showed through the respect, which he had earned, from near and far.

So again I thank you for sharing with us your many wonderful memories of Rusty (Bill) Divens.
