Commencement travel, lodging discounts offered

Airfare and lodging discounts are available to graduating students and their families during the days surrounding the University's 1999 commencement convocation on May 3 at the Civic Arena.

A 5-10 percent discount can be applied to any USAirways round-trip airfare into Pittsburgh April 29-May 6. For reservations and information, contact USAirways at 800/334-8644. Callers should identify themselves as members of "Gold File 82680815."

Lodging is available April 30-May 3 at the Pittsburgh Marriott, City Center, for $94 plus tax per night. The Marriott is located across from the Civic Arena.

For reservations, contact the Marriott at 888/456-6600. Callers should identify themselves as "University of Pittsburgh commencement attendees." Space is limited.
