Katz EMBA program honored

A program in Pitt's business school is rated among the top in the nation in the annual rankings of two national publications.

U.S. News & World Report ranked the Executive Master's of Business Administration (EMBA) program No. 15 in the country and BusinessWeek ranked in the "top-20" among similar programs.

The Katz Executive MBA program also is the only top-20 American Assembly of Collegiate Business Schools (AACBS)-accredited program in western Pennsylvania. Of the 1,200 business schools nationwide, only about 25 percent merit AACBS accreditation and fewer than 2 percent are ranked in the top 20.

The Katz EMBA enrolls students already working in business. Students concentrate on teamwork and leadership competencies, strategic thinking and understanding business from a global perspective.
