Traffic patterns during Bigelow closing

The diagrams below show the new traffic patterns that will be in effect during the 30-day test closing of Bigelow Boulevard between the Cathedral of Learning and the William Pitt Union. The closing will run from Sept. 16 to Oct. 15. The top diagram shows the bus loading zone that will continue to use a small portion of Bigelow. The center diagram shows the new traffic pattern on Bellefield Avenue and the bottom diagram the changes that can be expected along Bouquet Street. A total of 87 parking meters will be removed for the test. The largest number of meters, 32, will be removed from Bigelow. Bellefield will lose 26 meters, Fifth Avenue, 12 meters and Bouquet, 17 meters.
