Greensburg gets $2 million grant
The Katherine Mabis McKenna Foundation has awarded Pitt-Greensburg $2 million, the largest gift in the regional campus’s history. The money will help fund an addition to McKenna Hall, the campus computer center.
The Richard King Mellon Foundation and the Timken Foundation of Canton also have contributed to this project. The Mellon Foundation has given $500,000, and the Timken Foundation has earmarked $40,000.
Plans are being prepared to house an enlarged computer and audiovisual department, and additional computer classrooms and faculty offices.
