Street closings planned in Oakland
Parts of Oakland’s major arteries will be closed on certain weekends in June, as Facilities Management lifts maintenance equipment onto the roofs of Litchfield Towers.
Fifth Avenue between DeSoto Street and University Place will be closed 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m. on June 9, and 6 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 10.
Forbes Avenue between Bouquet Street and Schenley Drive will be closed 6 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on June 16.
