LRDC search to begin

Resnick, who also holds an appointment as University Professor of Psychology and Cognitive Science, has been director of LRDC since 1977.

She will focus on her research and will continue in her role as director of Pitt’s Institute for Learning.

George Klinzing, vice provost for research, is chairing the search. The committee is expected to be charged by the provost by early October, Klinzing said.

The search committee’s first task will be to develop a comprehensive job description, he said.

Search committee members are: Kevin Ashley, professor, School of Law; Debra Bernstein, Department of Psychology (student representative); Annabelle Clippinger, director, Pitt Arts (staff representative); Helen Faison, member, board of visitors, LRDC; Joyce Fienberg, research specialist, LRDC; Julie Fiez, professor, Department of Psychology; Patsy Guzzi, senior administrator, LRDC; Carrie Leana, professor, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (KGSB); Alan Lesgold, dean, School of Education; Audrey Murrell, associate professor, KGSB; Christian Schunn, associate professor, Department of Psychology, and Mary Kay Stein, professor, Department of Administrative and Policy Studies, School of Education.
