Fitness facilities set spring break schedule
A spring break schedule for Pitt’s recreation and fitness centers was announced last month by Intramural and Recreational Sports. This year’s spring break runs March 8-16.
For fitness centers available to faculty and staff:
• The Bellefield fitness center will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on spring break weekdays, March 10-14. It will be closed on the weekends, March 8-9 and March 15-16.
• The Trees Hall weight room will be closed on the weekends during spring break, but open 11 a.m.-3 p.m., March 10-14. Normal hours (7 a.m.-9 p.m.) will resume March 17.
For aquatics:
• Trees Hall pools will be closed from 2:30 p.m. March 6 until 10:30 a.m. March 17.
• The Bellefield Hall pool will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on spring break weekdays (March 10-14), but will be closed on the weekends, March 8-9 and March 15-16.
For sports and recreation:
• The Bellefield Hall sports gym will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. March 10-14, but closed on the spring break weekends.
• The Trees Hall climbing wall will close at 10 p.m. March 7 and re-open at 4 p.m. March 17.
• The Fitzgerald Field House track will be open regular hours March 10-14, but closed March 8-9 and March 15-16.
• The Trees Hall sports gym and racquetball courts, as well as the Field House squash courts and the facilities in the Cost Sport Center, will be open normal hours.
