Upgrading Benedum
Contractors have removed the O’Hara Street staircase that led to the Benedum Hall plaza as part of the University’s $64.3 million upgrade to Benedum Hall, which houses the Swanson School of Engineering. The work includes $16.8 million for an addition to house the Mascaro Sustainability Initiative. The structure will be built on the plaza, connecting Benedum Hall and Benedum auditorium.
