Pitt police get Roethlisberger K-9 grant
Pitt’s police department is among 10 local departments awarded grants from the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation for their K-9 units. According to Pitt Police Chief Timothy Delaney, $954 was received for the purchase of equipment for the department’s bomb-sniffing dog, Officer Riggs. Delaney said the department is looking into the purchase of a bomb vest for Riggs.
