The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, based at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, will collaborate with UPMC and local HIV stakeholders to host an all-day educational forum on Nov. 30 at Alumni Hall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day
It’s also the 30th anniversary of the center, which has been funded by the U.S. Health Resources & Service Administration’s HIV/AIDS Bureau since 1988.
The 2018 conference will bring together experts in the field of HIV to enable physicians, nurses and other HIV and primary care team members to improve HIV prevention, treatment and policy.
Topics to be covered include: HIV, HCV, and Medication Assisted Opioid Treatment, The MidAtlantic AETC at 30 Years: The Journey for Improving HIV Prevention and Care, What's New in HIV Prevention, Treatment and Cure, and more.
