Comment now on several policies slated to be decommissioned

The Office of Policy Development and Management is in the process of decommissioning several policies and is seeking comments from the University community.

The policies are all related to academic regulations. They are more appropriately managed by the Office of the Provost, the policy office says, instead of by University-wide policies.

Pitt students, faculty and staff with a University log-in can review and comment on policies to be decommissioned through Feb. 27.

The policies to be decommissioned:

AC 01 — Academic Probation/Suspension/Dismissal 
AC 02 — Academic Program Structure
AC 12 — Course Repeat
AC 14 — Course Withdrawal
AC 19 — Dual (Double) Degrees/Joint Degrees
AC 32 — G Grade Deadline
AC 34 — Grade Changes
AC 35 — Grading Options
AC 36 — Grading System
AC 37 — Graduate Faculty Qualifications
AC 44 — Minors and Areas of Concentration
AC 46 — Non-University of Pittsburgh Degree
AC 60 — Student Classification in Dual/Joint Degree Programs
AC 72 — University Honors
