Mark Cuban-backed NIL Store partners with Pitt athletes

Pitt Athletics has partnered with Campus Ink and Mark Cuban, the Pittsburgh native billionaire who spent his first year of college at Pitt, to set up a name, image and likeness (NIL) store for student-athletes across all sports.

Pitt’s home on the NIL Store features digital locker rooms for each student-athlete with jerseys, t-shirts and sweatshirts sporting the player’s name and number.  Items range from $40 to $65, regardless of the sport or player. The athletes earn between $6 and $12 on each item sold.

In 2021, the NCAA changed its rules to allow college athletes to make money from their personal brand, through endorsements or merchandising.

Pitt Athletics now has NIL store options at ShopPittPanthersRally HouseAthletes Thread, and Campus Ink.
