O’Hara Street closed through May 10; Ruskin Avenue through July 7

Construction projects will bring a couple of road closures to Oakland over the next several weeks:

O’Hara Street: A portion of O'Hara Street is closed through May 10 to support construction on the new Recreation and Wellness Center. There will be signage and traffic markers in place. Thackeray and North Bouquet Streets will be open.

Ruskin Avenue: A portion of Ruskin Avenue closed on April 29 and will remain that way until July 7 to support construction activity for a steam line project. The Ruskin Hall parking lot will remain open, but will only be accessible from the Fifth Avenue side. The main entrance to Ruskin Hall will not be blocked, but pedestrians will have to access it via Bigelow Boulevard.
