Panther Points will give loyalty benefits at University Stores

The University Stores have started a new loyalty program called Panther Points, which will benefit faculty, staff and students, as well as the general public.

Every time you shop at any of the University Stores, including the University Store on Fifth, the Pitt Shop on Forbes Avenue and at the Petersen Events Center, or Maggie and Stella’s Cards & Gifts, you will earn one point for every $1 spent on qualified purchases. Each point is worth 5 cents toward future spending or optional free gifts seasonally.

Those with a Pitt ID will enroll using the number on their ID card. All full-time, part-time, temporary and student staff will be included in the program.

A University Stores shopping account is required for Panther Points loyalty program enrollment. To enroll in-person, visit the information desk in the University Store on Fifth or the registers at any of the stores and a staff member will assist you. You also can enroll online at University Stores by clicking on My Account in the top right corner.

Membership in the loyalty program also comes with seasonal special offers, including: Exclusive discounts, giveaways and promotions; and early access to select sales and promotions. Students can earn points by selling their textbooks during the in-store Buyback Program at the end of each semester.

Points will expire one year after they are earned. There are some items that are excluded from the points program, including Apple products; custom or special orders including requisitions; and gift cards.
