Pitt faculty and students can now use Gradescope

Gradescope now available to Pitt Faculty and Students

Gradescope, a popular grading software, is now available for free to all Pitt faculty and students. The software makes administering many paper-based assessments much easier for instructors, while providing students with quicker and more meaningful feedback on their work.

Gradescope is offering two introductory webinars for Pitt faculty and teaching assistants from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 9 and 10 to 11 a.m. Oct. 17. To reserve a spot and get more information, please visit the registration page. Gradescope also has created a “Get Started” guide for a self-paced introduction. Interested faculty also can set up a consultation with the LMS Support and Consulting team to explore using Gradescope in their courses.

Gradescope also offers LMS integration with both Blackboard and Canvas, which allows instructors to sync rosters and grades between the two systems
