Pitt–Greensburg honors faculty with President’s Awards

Pitt-Greensburg recently recognized two faculty members with the President’s Awards for Faculty

The recipients are selected through a nomination process. Any faculty member with at least four years of full-time service at Pitt-Greensburg is eligible, provided that he or she has been active in teaching, in professional development, or in service.

  • The President’s Award for Distinguished Teaching went to Laura Giovannelli, an instructor in Chemistry, for her innovative teaching methods and her encouragement of student development. 

  • The President’s Award for Distinguished Service went to Paul Adams, associate professor of Political Science and division chair, for his sustained service activity which provides campus, University, and community benefit.
