Second Internal Funding Showcase will be in person on Sept. 2

The second annual Internal Funding Showcase, titled “Fueling Our Future,” will take place in person this year, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 2 at the University Club.

Chancellor Patrick Gallagher will be the featured speaker, and Rob Rutenbar, senior vice chancellor for Research, and Provost Ann Cudd will moderate a panel discussion. A poster session will follow the presentations.

The awardees were announced earlier this year. A virtual celebration includes a video of the Momentum Fund winners that highlights the many varied projects.

The awards range from Scaling Grants, for a two-year term with an award cap of $400,000; to Teaming Grants, for a one-year term with an award cap of $60,000; to Seeding Grants, which provide up to $16,000 per year.

The Momentum Funds were created in 2019 to offer support across multiple stages of large, ambitious projects. The money comes from the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research and the Office of the Provost.

Register here to attend in person. Registration is limited to 200 people.
