Staff town hall on return to campus set for June 15

All Pitt staff are invited to join a virtual town hall at 3 p.m. June 15 to learn more about the University's plan for returning to campus this summer.

A panel discussion, moderated by Staff Council President Andy Stephany, will include:

Dave DeJong, senior vice chancellor for Business and Operations

Mark Burdsall, deputy vice chancellor of Human Resources

Scott Bernotas, associate vice chancellor for Facilities Management

Kevin Sheehy, assistant vice chancellor in the Office of Business and Auxiliary Services who oversees the Office of Parking, Transportation & Services

DeJong said in May that Human Resources is working on a variety of resources to support ongoing remote and hybrid work arrangements, including a new flex work agreement, supervisor training and technology

He also said the transition of staff back to campus will begin in earnest sometime in July, instead of early June as originally anticipated. Each unit and department will develop return plans specific to their area.

Register here for the town hall (via Zoom) or watch it live on the Office of Human Resources' YouTube channel.

Participants can submit questions in advance by completing this Qualtrics survey.
