Volunteers sought for Pitt Arrival from Aug. 11 to 28

Staff volunteers are being sought to help welcome students and their families at Pitt Arrival starting Aug. 11.

First-year students will move in Aug. 11, 12, 15, 16, 19 and 20, while upper-class students move in from Aug. 23, 24, 27 and 28. There are three types of available volunteer roles for Pitt Arrival:

Physical Distancing Control: Volunteers will ensure students and families are maintaining safe physical distancing in their assigned area.

Cart Stations: Volunteers will sanitize carts, distribute the carts, and hand out parent/helper wristbands. 

Parking: Volunteers will direct vehicles entering the location and then ensure that parking permits are filled out completely and appropriately with name, time-in, and cell phone number.

If you would like to volunteer for Pitt Arrival 2020, please complete the online registration form at https://apps.fis.pitt.edu/pcarrival.There are a variety of volunteer shifts available at different times and at different locations across campus. A comprehensive health and safety plan will be provided.
