Drue Heinz lit winner named

drHeinzTina May Hall has been named the 2010 winner of the Drue Heinz Literature Prize, one of the nation’s most prestigious prizes for a book of short stories.

Her manuscript, “The Physics of Imaginary Objects,” was selected from nearly 350 entries by author and film critic Renata Adler, who judged this year’s competition.

The book will be published by the University of Pittsburgh Press this fall. The prize includes a $15,000 award.

Hall teaches English at Hamilton College.
