Pitt is a major sponsor of Community Human Services’ (CHS) fifth annual Sleep-in for the Homeless, which will be held Oct. 19 Downtown.

G. Reynolds Clark, vice chancellor of community initiatives and chief of staff in the Office of the Chancellor, is a co-chair of the fundraiser.

All proceeds benefit CHS homeless assistance programs, which serve approximately 1,500 local people experiencing homelessness each year.

Participants are asked to raise funds from family, colleagues and friends to support their involvement with the sleep-in. To register for the event, go to www.chscorp.org/Sleep-in%20Info.htm.
