PSC awarded state funds
Pennsylvania’s fiscal year 2015 budget included $500,000 for the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC), which is operated jointly by Pitt and Carnegie Mellon.
PSC officials stated in a prepared release that the state funds help support PSC science, technology, engineering and math education projects, outreach to serve small- and medium-sized Pennsylvania businesses’ computational needs, other workforce development projects and other operational activities.
