Correction
Due to an editing error, incorrect information appeared in the March 20 University Times story on the Real ID Act of 2005.
Although May 2008 was an initial deadline for compliance, all but four states had received extensions for Real ID Act implementation. As of March 20, only Maine, Montana, New Hampshire and South Carolina had yet to be granted extensions.
