New bike lane

bikelane

As promised by Mayor Bill Peduto in a July 3 press conference, the City of Pittsburgh has installed protected bike lanes between Schenley Plaza and the Boulevard of the Allies.

The two-way bike lanes, separated by bollards and painted lines, extend from Schenley Plaza near the Frick Fine Arts Building along Schenley Drive to Panther Hollow Road, and end at the Anderson Playground (known informally as Dinosaur Park) in Schenley Park near the Boulevard of the Allies.

Future phases are planned to extend the bike lanes to Parkview Avenue and to Pocusset Street.
