Local and Fresh Food Programs

Stock up on fresh produce and support local farmers this summer by buying locally grown fruits, vegetables and other foods from the Farms to Pitt program. Orders are delivered to University faculty and staff at designated locations on the Pitt campus.

Additionally, there are Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs and farmers markets within walking distance of the Pitt campus, and even more around Pittsburgh. Subscribe to your neighborhood’s CSA program for fresh, seasonal produce and support local farmers by visiting a farmers market near you this summer.

Improve Your Health, Earn Rewards

Take control of your health and complete your UPMC MyHealth questionnaire by Saturday, June 30. This questionnaire takes about 20 minutes to complete and will help you assess your overall health and wellness so that you can implement practical steps to improve your health.

The results of the questionnaire are completely confidential. Faculty and staff with UPMC health coverage can complete the questionnaire and earn a reward in their Health Incentive Account. Spouses and domestic partners are also eligible to complete the questionnaire and earn healthy lifestyle rewards. Learn more about the questionnaire and how to complete it on the Office of Human Resources' website.
