The next Center for Creativity event will help you step away from emails, class schedules, expectations and deadlines, and spend some time focusing on what actually matters to you.

Using simple zine-making techniques, participants at the “Make It Make Sense: Personal Manifestos” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the C4C Understory (Cathedral of Learning basement, B50) can craft a personal publication that captures their beliefs, intentions, and the kind of life or work they want to move toward. 

Through guided prompts and conversation, those in attendance will clarify core values and priorities, experiment with creative self-expression, and leave with a unique, handmade manifesto to revisit and revise over time.

This workshop — facilitated by Erik Schuckers, interim co-director of the Center for Creativity — offers a supportive space to think differently and make something meaningful. 

No artistic experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Snacks and all materials provided.
