Pitt has moved up slightly in two recently announced rankings.

In the U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Global University Ranking, Pitt is 42nd overall, up from 43 last year; and 23rd for U.S. schools up from 25 last year. Among all AAU schools, Pitt is 22nd and among public AAUs, the University comes in at seventh.

The Times Higher Education World Universities rankings by subject put Pitt at 64th for arts & humanities, up for 68th. Pitt also ranked 55th worldwide for clinical and health.
