The University of Pittsburgh has formed a search committee for the next Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine. 

 

In addition, Isaacson Miller — a national executive search firm that specializes in recruiting leaders for colleges and universities, academic medical centers, foundations, research institutes and more — has been hired to assist the committee with the search.

 

The committee is chaired by Chancellor Joan Gabel and co-chaired by Timothy Billiar, UPMC Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer.
